Just tired Quiver and it sounds great. The only trouble is the demo seems to introduce random white noise after awhile making it difficult to demo.
What it needs is a couple of sound designers to make some banks for it because it has the potential to be even better.
Quiver?

I was also quite impressed when I first demoed it.
Great sound,
a smart, clean, understated gui design,
lots of modulation options,
an excellent preset browser,
and (comparatively speaking) an amazing price for what it can do.
Then I saw the cpu hit and became less enthused.
Wouldn't be so bad if I had a faster machine, but for me, it made it easier to spend a bit more money on another synth with a lighter cpu hit.
I still think it's a pretty great deal though,
and now that I've bought a good audio interface I may consider getting it.
So, thanks for reminding me about it!
I also think it's good you created a thread for it.
I can't think of any other synth in it's price range that's so ... cool
