I need help on recreating the Lead that comes in at around 1:04ish

Would it be similar to making the Toulouse lead by using modern talking and linking the sync to LFO Attack?

I need some help with this.

I am using Massive

Any help at all is appreciated.

The talking synth/bassline tutorials are ALLLLL over the place. Youtube talking bass and it will give you a ton of places to start from. The Skrillex-ish bass is obviously made in massive however the sound in this track sounds like sylenth to me. In fact I'm almost positive I recognize this sound as a preset from a soundpack in Sylenth. I'll check when I get home and let you know what it is.

Use the bit reduction distortion in Sylenth. Easy!

Any word on that sylenth preset? I really dig this sound and I wanna see what I can get out of it.

cool stuff man! although the bassline isn't included in that midi on nonstop2k.

I wonder though, what effects did he put on the sound to achieve that? did he automate an LFO and glide from a lower note to a higher note on the first one? and how did he widen it and get it that "bassy"/that characteristic that it's got?

Would really appreciate the tips on this one, now that we know what sound it is.

The sound or the effect?

How can we achieve the same effect in other synths or plugins? any plugin recommended for this? I don't have Nexus 2, I'm a MAC user aswell.

Yeah, I found the preset. It's in Ummets Sylenth soundset. It's just the talking layer tough but it nearly identical. You'd have to change the attack alittle but its ridiculously close. I was pretty busy this weekend but I'll give you the exact name of it when I get home today.

No, although I'm sure he made it from that preset because it is similar. In the Ummet Soundset it's 44: BS Clean Talk.

lol this is definately the preset he used.

Have you got any idea how he processed it and how he made it sound the way it does?
