I have searched, but I can't find any info on this.

There was a thread about 6 months ago where it was suggested that a new distortion unit was on the way.

My itchy buy finger is getting itchier by the second, but I use a lot of distortion in my programming and i'm still not feeling what's already on offer.

Watch this place on 1st of June.

(once we finish DIva 1.1, we're basically on/off vacations and what not, but on June 1st we'll have some news that'll concern dynamics as well as distortion)

As I already said some months ago, something like the "new" the Virus TI distortion effects would be amazing in Zebra!

so after the last big news that was quite frankly disappointing to me as a non reason user, although I can understand reason users being excited, I was hoping for the second big news, that spectrasonics license your stuff for the soft synth side of omnisphere....clearly that isnt' happening either so now I am guessing you will be licensed by a well known dynamics effects company to produce effects for them.......hmmmm who can it be...

My guess is Boss and hell has indeed frozen over

I'm gonna take a wild guess, that Urs' business model fits him so well that he won't be changing it much. My guess is he's planning on adding new staff and branching out into new "product lines." This could include hardware. He must know that he has a certain dedicated user base that will buy most anything new U-He puts out, and also has the respect of...well, almost everybody...so he prolly doesn't have much incentive to change his sole proprietorship. His main concern I would guess is in maintaining his model of producing well-designed stuff people like with high sound quality.

Now what would be interesting would be if he incorporated and offered up stock options for purchase...
