Awesome track! That was mastered on an iPad? That's pretty amazing.. it has a richness that my own "on the pad" productions thus far are missing (they sound so brittle). I love the use of the stereo field (some great delay effects in there). If you hadn't told me it was produced on an iPad there's no way I would have known.

Mixing and mastering audio on iPad is not too difficult...have a good set of powered studio monitors (JBL, M-Audio BX5, etc). I load each individual track into Multitrack DAW. (make sure drum tracks and hits are properly panned and individual kit piece volumes are set prior to this). Set levels and start EQ for each track...I usually bump the treble up on the drum tracks. My EQ on guitar tracks are minimal...bass will need EQ and compressor. I set the panning as follows...drums in center. Guitars are either doubled or quad tracked with just a little difference in panning left and right. Individual reverb levels in addition to overall master reverb and delay. It's different for every song...no real formula to speak of...that's where your ear comes in. I don't do mixing with headphones because it always sounds different when you play through speakers. I'll check around in my libraries and see if I can dig some more stuff up for you guys!
