In an act of sheer blasphemy, Diva has become our first synthesizer not to receive a KeyBuy award in Keyboard magazine, well, as far as we know It may come as a surprise, but we're glad to have a well balanced review with well deserved criticism from one of the most respected writers in the industrie, Jim Aikin. And as we're not finicky or anything about this, we have put this review for download on our website, for anyone to read: http://www.u-he.com/cms/diva And we're also happy to announce that we've just released an update that addresses then most itching criticism. Same link. Enjoy, |

I'm with him on the Arp/Step Sequencer thing, but c'mon...how do you go from "I can't believe it's not analog" to no "Key Buy."
I demand a recount! Urs, send him the latest version with the CPU optimizations and insist on a full retraction. |

I want to hold her hand and tell her she's pretty enough. |

Great review. TBH the lack of Arp is what has prevented me from getting DIVA - so far. It would be really great to have an Arp included in an update. Hopefully not just simple Ups and Downs. I expect nothing less than the state-of-the-art-Arp for this synth.
Oh... then of course also for ACE |

Oh... then of course also for ACE And Arp would be a great luxury for both. |

Hey cool, thanks for posting the vid! ..also relatively enjoyed reading the article. ...but I don't like the audio keyboardmag Diva "demo" (sounds like an uninspired 90s pop-dance tryout) I really would like to hear more "big guys" reviewing Diva... |

Arto Varaala is a great plugin, however it does not happen to work with Audio Units hosts like Logic or GarageBand. |

strange cos there's an AU version for both 32bit and 64bit osx and even a video showcasing how to set it up in Logic. but not having a mac i wouldn't know. |

Big props to Urs. His reaction to the review is one of many reasons he is one of my all time favorite devs and why I buy all his creations. A lot of devs get really defensive, or ignore any kind of criticism, even criticism that is offered out of a genuine desire to see the dev become more successful.
It would be great for Urs to write a column on how other devs can create a healthy business and development model. |
