This one hurts. The Beasties were so bad ass to me as a child and through my teenage years.
Glad that I got to see them at least once (with Bad Brains!).

Paul's Boutique still blows me away.
Paul's Boutique was so underrated when it came out. I remember a lot of people that I knew sort of *rediscovered* it after Check Your Head came out.
I remember back in the early to mid 90s when I discovered that the Beasties were originally a punk band too (never knew that even back in '86). Not only were they punk but they were more on the crusty hard core side which is what I was into at the time already.
