I'm going to hold a seminar in my computer music class about music software plug-ins and I'm looking for good books which deal with this subject. Can anyone recommend a good book to get started with VST, Audio Units,...?

Are you talking about using them, making them, about.. the different companies that make the different varieties?

If it's just using them, it's a pretty basic idea, and you're better off looking for books that goes into how to use audio processors and generators
