Nothing special but it still made my day when the postlady arrived with the package from Thomann: Roland CS-10EM Binaural Microphones.

Shared the excitement with my wife but she couldn't care less, so now I'm sharing it with you instead. At least they are cheaper than a Neumann KU-100 dummy head to 5000£ for the same purpose.

and when i twist those knobs on my hardware gear and come up with a cool noise, I share my joy with my wife too, but.... ... it's actually my boy who shows greater interest:
- "what's this, daddy?",
- "it's a sound",
- "oh, a monster?"

Enjoy it!

I guess don't forget when you have them on and go into the loo with them still recording. If you went into a public loo and forgot, I guess that would be considered "crowd sourcing"? :hihi:

Same here... just my girls hammering my JD-800 and every 5 second saying "want to try new sound now daddy please..." :hihi: regarding sounds, I heard some of your latest presets for you-know-what, great work mate. :tu:

Here is a few binural recordings, two of them recorded while in Madrid last weekend. One is from the airport where people passes me on both sides while I record, great effect with headphones!

Another recorded in a restaurant - you can hear me going up some stairs, passing some busy waiters, there's dishes in the background and I pass the kitchen on my right hand, Zero 7 plays in the background, some laughter and suddenly I'm outside. There's some lo-rumble wind noise here and there, unfortunately. Listen with headphones to get the full binaural effect.

And before those two recordings, circus was in town. Recorded in the tent during the break.
