I have a doubt, for example, the snappy knob (and all the others which alike functions), all we here know what does since we know Rebirth machinne, but it works with samples too? Or is it only with synthesized snares? If i can remember well, the drum module in Reason (Redrum) works with samples too and does what i'm asking for. Have a good day http://www.vintagesynth.com/roland/606.php Quote: The 606 has seven analog drum sounds which are simple, yet great! Kick, Snare, 2 toms, open hat, closed hat, cymbal
These sounds should be analogue modelled, and the rest samples (I can't confirm this yet) Hi, Mike from AudioRealism here. The 606 sounds are fully modeled in ADM. The full version includes modeled 808 and 909. This is especially important in these machines as no samples can faithfully recreate the "movement" in the sound -- each hit is unique. The cymbal's oscillators are always running and likewise for the noise gen in the drum sounds. The sampled portion of ADM's interpolators is loosely based off vintage samplers such as the Roland S-50 and earlier series. --Mike |

who get CM later, from shops, can test and then buy the upgrade. I usually get three issues per year, #177 just hit the shops, so I nabbed it, Cumulous, Dune, Diversion, Panda drum machine, and Drummix, and some nice fx, all added since the last purchase Nice video tutorial on Diversion, a good ice breaker! It's good to see new blood on CM magazine staff with a presence here. Beware, u-he Diva fans might come running with pitchforks for not doling out the 'key buy' award We've got tasers, no key buy, that's a tasing! More seriously, I also only buy a few copies of CM a year, and I'll bet getting this one as well. I find the 606 choice interesting as it would have been my first choice of the three. Does anyone know what kind of copy protection it's using? |

The free CM version has no copy protection. And last month there was a free (cut-down) version of Dune too. |

Using Loomer's Cumulous, it's great fun to slow the bpm in Cumulous, create some sparse pattern, then drive it with a busy drum machine pattern(s) at a multiple of the bpm. addiction brewing... |
