It took a while, but we've just updated Curve 2 to Beta 3.

This adds the long requested modulation of LFO amount.

We've also reduced memory usage from 170 MB per instance to around 30 MB. Massive changes had been necessary to make this happen and we might well have introduced some bugs here - let us know if you stumble across anything!

Among minors bugfixes, this update fixes a crash when an OSC used noise for both waveforms. Furthermore, velocity mapping changed slightly.

Maybe your son's preset wins 1st place in Curve 2's preset competition.

He'll get a Cableguys flatrate then - all downloadable products we'll ever do for free, 100 years of Cableguys licenses in his Inbox. Contest starts Monday (May 14)!

Preset contest up now!

We just started the contest to find the best preset sounds.

There's a lot of prices in the pot for the top-50 presets. And we'll pick our absolute favorite preset: Its creator gets all plugins we'll ever do for free!

i've tested the 64bit Beta Version on Windows 7 Studio One Vers. 2. It's more that i tried to test.. it's impossible to do anything with it, as if i press the first and then the second key on my masterkeyboard it looks like curve doesnt receive any note off commands and it appears a wall of sound...

Thanks for reporting! I'll give it a try with Studio One v2 soon. Is Curve 2 the only plugin that shows this behavior for you?

Have a good day Smile

So, when we click save on the preset and then sync it gets uploaded automatically? Heh, this'll be interesting without the ability to open saved files. Will I be able to open presets I've uploaded to further edit them?

Well, should be fun!

You can upload as many presets as you want to. A thousand if you wish. Don't fear to drown others in too many presets - the shared preset voting will make sure that everyone can filter for only the top-rated sounds, if they wish.

Deadline is not set yet, but there's quite some time. We'll add more features, based on your feedback, improve CPU usage, etc

You can open all presets which are in Curve's preset browser, your own presets and the ones from others!

Only restriction: If you save a song in your sequencer, and open it later, it will not recall Curve's settings.

Hmmm, having said that I might need to rethink the current wording on the page.

This is kinda a OT question, but is it possible in curve to set an LFO or ENV on key points in the waveform? For example, use an LFO on one point in the waveform to move left/right, another lfo in the waveform to move up down, so any keypoint in the waveform can be animated in any direction over time?

Ah, I guess anything about Curve is more than welcome in the thread!

Actually, this is not possible yet, but it's a common feature wish. You can vote for it in our public wish list here (you do not need an account to vote):

http://cableguys.uservoice.com/forums/84071-curve/suggestion s/1225157-modulate-points-of-a-waveform

Although this feature might need a looooooooooong time to implement.. but anyway, if even more users wish for it, we'll see what can be done.
