Here's something to watch to put more into focus what some others are doing. It's on again live today. They're tracking in Studio One but they could be using any host really. The key things to realize there is that...
- CPU efficiency is irrelevant. - Virtual instrument handling is irrelevant. - There likely won't be 10,000 plugs on the mixes. http://www.livestream.com/presonuslive/video?clipId=pla_542e 5e03-a28c-4a7a-a5e9-cf9396307aa8 I'd go so far as to say (electronic music aside) that in any large music hub here in the states, Nashville, New Orleans, etc... the same would likely be true for most people making records this way, which is a heck of a lot of studios making records this way. Point being, context is everything, and the context here is great players playing real instruments in real time. Great videos. P.S. I wonder if anyone has a VI that sounds as good as those keyboards. |
