The Korg Kaossilator/Kaossilator 2 has a button it likes to call a "Gate Arpeggiator" - but what would the equivalent of this be outside of the scope of the Kaossilator?
I want to be able to use something like this in my workflow so that when I press a note it will repeat the note over and over as long as its held (rather than sustain the note). Additionally, I'm wondering how to then create different patterns like the Kaossilator's built in 50 (well, my own actually - hence why I thought of wanting to do this to begin with).
As far as I can tell, this would be something you could do with a step sequencer... although an arpeggiator (using a single note) would also do the same thing I think. But is this what the feature really is? I have no idea
- but I just want to be able to hold down a key and it to repeat the same note over and over on a pattern that I define (some notes longer, some shorter). Again - this is based on the perspective of someone who has only really been using a Kaossilator 2 for a week!Thanks for any help!
