Sort of a head's up cross post, as I realise that not everyone looks at all the forii!
Basically a friend and I are investigating doing a dev/music-audiotech conference/event in Sheffield UK, and wondered if folk would be interested..

Be great if anyone would like to could come; Dave Spiers of GForce will be speaking; plus Daz Disley & IIRs [& possibly Griels!] from here may show up too!

Would be cool if the proceedings are documented somehow - for the people that can't be there!

I haven't seen it advertised anywhere apart from here. I don't know if you are deliberately limiting the publicity, but if not, it might help to send it to a few mailing lists, e.g. BRIT-COMP-MUSIC and maybe things like the MaxMSP/PD/Supercollider lists

most of the advertising has been around Sheffield, the universities/ colleges, music & record shops, sheffieldforum, some networking contacts. I guess I have sorta limited it as the venue can only hold around 80, but will try those mailing lists - tbh it hadn't crossed my mind! will do the vst-mailing list & musicdsp as well.
thanks!
thanks!
