Organ Pedal patch?

Can any of the U-HE synths do a good organ pedal sound. I'm looking for something deep, to shake the house - to use in my Planets arrangement (in Mars, Saturn, and Neptune). Thanks!

I'll try something Mike.
It would help, having an example of some named music for the kind of thing your looking for, of some mp3 clip, but I'm pretty sure I know what you're looking for.

If I had to guess it's probably something like the Taurus 1 (not 3):mcnoone wrote:It would help, having an example...
If you want higher quality I can post a short snippet of some raw waveforms from omnisphere's Taurus sound sources.

Mike,
First...thank you for sharing you music, I really enjoy listening to it!
Next...I don't know if these presets come anywhere close to what you are looking for. I don't have a great sound system to hear them with. Please give me some feedback if you have the time. At any rate it's fun trying.

Edit: There are 3 variations of one Diva patch "DeepDiva". Mostly just varied the envelope.
Edit 2: When I got away from a qwerty keyboard I realized I was completely lost regarding octaves...played on a MIDI keyboard and realized the patches were atrocious...Tweaked them up an octave, and added some other tweaks, some tweaks reduce CPU hit. Here are the new patches for what they are worth:

Would love any feedback anyone is willing to provide on how to give my Diva a big bottom

Thanks for your replies Michael and bmrzycki. I came up with the perfect patch for my needs. It's a sawtooth + lowpass filter turned up to cut out of the highs. I have to be careful not to ruin my headphones. Unfortunately, I didn't use a UH-E product for this patch

Okay...so a saw bass synth...with how low can you go factor.bmrzycki wrote:If I had to guess it's probably something like the Taurus 1 (not 3):mcnoone wrote:It would help, having an example...

I was thinking church cathedral organ thing.
Maybe I'll try both for something to do.

Oh well...maybe Diva can do it better though.mleghorn wrote:Thanks for your replies Michael and bmrzycki. I came up with the perfect patch for my needs. Maybe post an mp3 clip of it, so we can one up it.

Here's a go I had at the Taurus bass pedal thing, using Diva.
There's 1 patch with 8 other variations there.
Most use the poly2 setting, but I added a few mono as well.
The modwheel up, will get you some slight changes in tone.

Maybe they'll work better for the piece... then again maybe not.

Yeah I'll post an mp3 sample on box.net when I get around to it (in a day or so). The sound I'm using (which works well) has hardly any overtones -- just a lot of bass.mcnoone wrote:Oh well...maybe Diva can do it better though.mleghorn wrote:Thanks for your replies Michael and bmrzycki. Okay, so it's nothing like the Taurus pedal youtube video above.mleghorn wrote: Yeah I'll post an mp3 sample on box.net when I get around to it (in a day or so). The sound I'm using (which works well) has hardly any overtones -- just a lot of bass.
Here's another attempt, without any resonance, overtones.
Diva Pedal Bass

Maybe some description.
If it's more like a sub-bass or more like a church organ bass?
...or if you already got the sound then maybe no need.
If you ever want a sound though, maybe an mp3 click or reference to a track would work. I like trying for sounds, for a challenge, or diversion.

Hey thanks, Dr. Niles Crane, for the generous comment about my music --- and thanks for the Diva presets. They sound great. I'll still go with the patch that I came up with (in the non-Uhe product).ho66it wrote:Mike,

Rather than post a sample of the organ pedal, here's Saturn:
http://soundcloud.com/mike-leghorn/saturn
The organ pedal comes in at about 7:40. It has no timbre to speak of -- just bass.
