I liked the Animmoog clip all the way through. Great sounds for a great synth.
The last half of the Sunrizer clip was more along the lines of my interest. Not that the first half was bad. On a side note, I have Sunrizer for my iPad but missed the free version for my iPod this weekend as I worked a 48 hour shift. No joy when I got home this morning and found that it went back to normal price I don't have Chrysalis yet but that clip made me definitely consider looking into it. I do like the song type example over the sound clip of the Sunrizer clip but that is IMHO only. Thanks for making soundsets to these great synths and for the opportunity to get lucky and perhaps receive them for free. My luck is not that great but I do hope that those who do get them will enjoy them and make great music (and perhaps post some examples). I wish you success in your current and future endeavors. |

Like the chunky bass early in the Animoog demo demo and the sort of wailing lead about halfway through. There was one patch in the Sunrizer demo that had some nice moving overtone content and also liked how you used the formant filter in a couple of the later patches. Lastly, I think it great you made Crystal pacthes - I think it unfairly overlooked and passed over in the ios community.
Overall they sound pretty awesome! (From what I can gather despite the Soundcloud audio.. grumble grumble... rant rant...) |

I had really forgotten I even had crystal til I heard this set today. Cool vibe to the presets. Of course Animoog and sunrizer are always top notch. |

Well, I just downloaded Crystal Synth and looked through a few youtube videos and their own website but I just do not see how to add these or any other sounds to the app. I also do not see any way of implementing MIDI or background audio. Surely it is late in the night and I am missing something. At least it was only .99. |

---I own all three apps and have listened several times to the demos. I hear lots of imagination and a lot of hard work thats gone into making the sounds I just wish that I could imagine a place for them in my music. |

Interesting stuff. I have been looking a Crystal Synth for a while, but have yet to purchase it. The track with your presets may finally inspire me to add Crystal to my list of synths.
Nice work. |

Thanks for all the great comments! We will be uploading new demo tracks soon to give a better idea of he breadth of these packs.
Keebo - Yes, the Sinerise demo is just a single note repeated revolving through the patches. We will have a "song style" demo up soon! About your purchase of Crystal see below. Gauranath - Plenty of chunky basses in all these sets, esp Animation and Sinerise. Scott - Maybe you'll hear some more appealing sounds in the new demos. To everyone - Crystal Synth is great! If you wanna try it out before you buy the iOS version it's FREE for desktops! It's very capable and probably the best free synth out. Our patches are compatible with both the desktop and iOS XT version. They have it available here - http://www.greenoak.com/crystal/indexDesktop.html Also wanted to make it clear to everyone there are two versions of Crystal for iOS. Make sure you get the right one! The basic iOS Crystal will only play sounds, and will not load patches or receive midi. You need Crystal Synth XT or the desktop version to load our packs. From the Crystal site - "There are two different versions of the mobile Crystal to choose from, Crystal Synth and Crystal Synth XT, so you can select the one that is best for you. Crystal Synth is the basic version. With this version you can browse sounds, play notes, and create new sounds, taking advantage of its powerful semimodular synthesis engine. Crystal Synth XT adds MIDI keyboard input, sharing of sounds with other apps via audio copy and paste, and sharing of patches with the desktop version. With MIDI keyboard input, you can connect a MIDI keyboard to your iPad using Apple's camera adapter and play Crystal like a hardware synth. Or use the MIDI Mobilizer from Line 6 to connect a MIDI keyboard to your iPhone. With patch sharing you can create sounds on your iPad or iPhone while away from the studio, then transfer them to the desktop Crystal when you get back to the studio to use in recording projects. Or, create banks of sounds on the desktop Crystal, then transfer them to the iPad/iPhone Crystal to use in a live performance for a truly portable rig." |

---I really wish I could use the sounds because the more we support you sound designers the better off we'll be in the future and I'll probably buy the bundle anyway just to help out but so far I can't imagine a use in progressive or classical rock for the sounds. Maybe once I get them it'll be different. |
