Hi,
I just found out about this program called Bluestacks that will run Android Apps on the PC. Works well and it's free.
I have run AndRaita, Eight Tracks and Milky Tracker on it.
Unfortunately Nanoloop will not run correctly because Nanoloop will not run in landscape mode and Bluestacks will not run in vertical mode. I emailed Nanoloop about this.

Good for people who want to try the free stuff in the Android Market. You can purchase stuff and use it in this Windows program too. It registers right to Google Play.
You can use your samples on your PC. Just put the samples in your Pictures folder. That is the only folder that Bluestacks sees on Windows AFAIK.
Thanks. God Bless.
Aaron.

Hi,
I just found out you can sideload apks too.
Just put your apks in the Pictures folder on your PC. Then in Bluestacks use a file browser and double click on the apk (I used AndExplorer). It installs just like any other Android app.
Thanks. God Bless.

Hi,
I am trying to use Caustic 2 in Bluestacks and getting some clipping issues. Has anyone been able to fix this?
Thanks. God Bless.

Hi All,
So it seems that some apps only run in phone mode. You can change this setting in the apps settings. Restarting Bluestacks after that is recommended.
Still have issues with Nanoloop and Caustic as stated above. Everything else seems to run in this emulator after some fiddeling with tablet vs phone settings for each individual app.
Thanks. God Bless.

FYI, There's a windows version of Caustic out now, Mr GodBlessCavanaugh. No hacks required.aaroncavanaugh2 wrote:Hi,
