Hi community!
So I just got Massive and i'm playing around with it for the sake of learning the plugin..I've come acorss a small thing..whatever melody i lay down on my piano roll and put it in the FL playlist..when it goes to the start of the melody again, like; when it repeats..there's some sort of phasing sound, the melody play's much different than it's supposed to, why is this? Thanks in advance! |

Could be a buffer issue. Are you using a music sound card or stock? Make sure you're using ASIO drivers and set the latency lower in FL. ---- Crime in multi-storey car parks. That is wrong on so many different levels. http://soundcloud.com/dan-ling |

Does it only happen with massive? Doesn't happen with any other of your vsts?
If you go to file>new sound (or whatever) in massive to reset the sound to a simple saw does it still happen? |

Yup, sync can create these sorts of issues. It's a problem with Stylus RMX too. ---- Crime in multi-storey car parks. That is wrong on so many different levels. http://soundcloud.com/dan-ling |

ive used some synths that have phasing issues in the past. The sound will sound 'nice' but every time it is triggered sounds subtily different, which if it is a promenent sound in the mix can make it sound shit basically.
Im working away from home and don't know massive hugely well so can't really dig in and see whats happening with you, but I think under the 'osc' page i think you'll find something to lock the oscilators down and stop the issue but this might destroy some of the character of the sound that makes it sound nice. So another option is: you could ignore the phasing issue for now and when ready to render the song sample a loop of the sound and use the audio loop instead of massives output. |
