I really like the plucky bass you have there, what did you use for it? Great song overall never thought of side-chaining vocals, I'll have to try that one day.

Hey Vixitus! Thanks for listening and giving feedback : ) I was always told that sidechaining vocals in a no no, but I do it sometimes and it sounds good to me. But others don't like it, I suppose.

I used Vanguard for the bass. Two PWM Saws and a combed square. I also sidechained the bass too. Since you seem open to trying sidechaining vocals, I'd say that it doesn't sound too bad lol.

Thanks again for commenting. It's much appreciated.

Sometimes the wrong things sound great! Daft Punk said something like that and look at them.

Very true. Music is about thinking outside the box anyway - innovative music anyway. Emotions have no structure sometimes and music, most of the time, mimics emotion. There are no rules when it comes to creativity, I find. Now mixing and mastering, well that's a different story. Mastering is a bitch, onw which I haven't yet learned how to tame, but I will someday lol. X
