I love my colors! Life used to be boring. Now, with my swimming pool blue, desert red, the twins (a little blah actually, but great necks!) and my natural colored bass (with the one white jass bass) I'm quite colorful. Hell, I'd die my hair.........if I had any

Post

colors are fine, but when they are louder than my amps it's a problem :hihi:

Maybe so. However, given that you and I have nearly the exact same pickup configurations, you might not be as off the wall as you think. ;)

btw, you'd love my #3 Ibanez. Seriously.
BTW I did not go with push/pull, I went with two toggles and I hate to break it to you but even though you and I can get the same combos I'm not so sure that they are every possible combo...unless of course there is something you're leaving out. With the push/pull pots (or toggles like mine) you get Humbucker parallel, P-90s, single coil and Humbucker series correct?
You're right, I forgot that we can't mix different pickup configurations. I actually really want to try two humbuckers in the middle position, with one series and the other parallel, which is probably the only sound I've never heard.

btw, one of my dream guitars, one that I've wanted for years and never thought I'd actually find, is on its way to me now:

Joe Gore is the MAN! I saw him playing on PJ Harvey's "To Bring Him My Love" tour and was blown away by his crisp chops and tone. The sound was explosive, probably the best guitar tone I've ever heard at a live gig, and it was all out of a little 1x12" Blue Angel.

PRS looks nice!

Beautiful and bizarre. It looks like a custom build that someone put a Fender logo on to (what a shame), especially given the lack of fretboard position markers.

Back to ew's Tone Fiend post, here's a mod I'm doing:

Yeah- Joe's amazing- and just an all around nice guy. We were on the same test list for something or another a few years ago, and we've had a couple interesting email exchanges since. He never fails to inspire me.

I'm sure I would love your ibby, I was being cheeky...about the p-rails that's exactly what I was talking about, sooner or later (probably later) I will swap things around. During the installation of the pick-ups instead of changing my switch that changes my baritone from mono to stereo I figure I would reuse it and melted it trying to get solder off the contacts  Everything else is done but the switch is still sitting in the package...damn I can be lazy :hihi: In my defense, I have a lot of things going at once and when it's time to choose between playing through my new amp or soldering what would you choose?

Congrats on the new guitar :tu:
