I heard all pros were moving to Idaho but that probably is wrong.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

I just recently picked up cubase 6.5 and already own Logic 9,so I wouldn't say it's everyone moving from other daws to logic. Logic just has a nice deal, and if you own a mac, it's nice to have logic for a different option for recording.

Looking at this list http://top40.about.com/od/popmusicof201 ... f-2011.htm (whether or not you look up to those producers, they are the most commercially successful producers of last year), ALL of them use either Logic or Pro Tools (some use both). Usually, everything is mixed in Pro Tools.

From that list:
Pro Tools: Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, Max Martin, Stargate, David Guetta, The Smeezingtons
Logic: Calvin Harris, Paul Epworth, David Guetta, Fernando Garibay, Ryan Tedder

What does this mean? Nothing. Just interesting. Use whatever makes you happy and suits your workflow.

If you look real close, you may find a bit of fairy dust too.

Anyway... nothing can beat the Pro-Tools:

Hi.

I don't think that everyone going to use Pro Tools .Ok, in Pop maybe...
But: Bjork is 'Pop' too, but she is using Max/Msp.

It depends on what you want to do.
Many 'Electronica' artists are using Cycling 74, that is one of the best applications ever made.
You can design your own instruments and so on...Also Cubase is fine too.

Sure it does. It tells you that PT is dominant at the very top of the recording industry. That's been true for quite a few years and remains true today.

Why do you think so many people talk about "taking the crown", "taking it over in the industry", yada, yada? The only application that had half a chance of actually replacing PT in that market - taking a subatantial share of PT's market share there - was Nuendo, and they failed so far. Esonique Paris had a reasonable shot back in the day but it died on the vine. The only other real contender now is SSL & Soundscape.

People really need to get over the inferiority complex about PT, it's not going anywhere.
