Oh, I didn't mean "we don't need realistic spaces"

This one can do realistic spaces, and nice rooms, too.
I was just wondering while we are talking about it.
Realistic or not, delay based reverbs have a special flavor, opposite to convolution or other techs. This is why this one exists. We'll see how useful its sound can be.
I have to say I've got quite great feedback from testers

Nothing to defend, right? It's just taste. I like to talk about things every now and then. And I think it's refreshing every now and then to not just talk about things I like. Sometimes these things are fruitful, too. But not always.

Critics are what helps!

I thought we were discussing a bit about kinds of reverbs. I'm a bit confused, because we have gone so much forward thanks to convolution that we are looking for realistic spaces but in an old artificial mode

The fun part is that it makes really sense...

Then, while looking for realistic from artificial, we happen to look for non-realistic results in a traditional way, because that's what we are used to with a lot of music and we are used to hear and we often like.

This is a new palette, now collecting feedback!

when we did this the artist wanted to be the main view point all we wanted to do was and a little clean ambiance to complement his playing

with all that said this reverb can really do nice rooms iv just never been a fan of overdoing something lots of classical Guitar CD's don't try to give you a scene of space Angel Romero's Cd's tend to sound low in volume so that the his is not heard and is a very clean signal people love that and some have over hyped reverb that sounds kind of muddy we where trying to find a balance between the two but lean more towards the players playing not a rooms view.
Segovia didn't try to make you think he was in a nice room ether its all to taste

besides that not all rooms sound the same

We have just mixed a pop/dance song to show it in action (uploaded soon). Reverb to be released in a few days with its first algorithm...

Here is a song I just mixed with Stagespace only for the reverbs

Hot Jeans

Three instances of Stagespace:

- very long for background instruments and sound effects
split stereo mode, left and right channels are reverberated separately
- huge room for the choir, highly detuned
- dedicated instance for the voice, long with long pre-delay to add a "tail". Automated send level, of course

(GTS-39 on bass, drums, voice and choir
StripBus as a console, with lots of "proxy" filter use
Roundtone and Cuttertone on the master
New for me: an instance of Strip on the master, "console D"
Internal Cubase filters and nothing more)

Yes, of course.
It has an internal sidechain unit but an external sidechain input, too

Really punchy device, audio samples coming.
