A preview of a song I'm working on, different from my usual genre. It's kind of hip-hop, but on the synthetic electronic pop side of it. Looking for constructive criticism on the mix and advice on how to proceed.

Not much wrong with this. I would be looking to add a little more variation to the drums between the 2 verses and again between the 2 choruses. Maybe adding a little more reverb to the snare later in the song, maybe bring up the hats a little or add another percussive sound. If you overdo it, it could end up sounding a little too much like a ballad. At the end of the day, it's really a matter of personal taste.

Thanks. So by "overdoing it" do you mean if I overdo the percussion?

Yes. I think the changes I suggested should be subtle. More like tweaking than reworking.
