Well I'm rooting for Albania so far, more experimental jazz performers next year please.
Good on the Hump though, gave it his all, nice old skool euro song too.

I did smirk at the number of wobble basses that crept in this year.
But, no, don't fall for the Russian entry, please, have some dignity.

Very average imho, not that there's any logic to eurovision at the best of times...

It was clear from the beginning that Sweden would win - and they have won?! Isn't it all a big fraud? How can they know before the voting who will win??
BTW, "our" German song with Roman Lob was written from a UK songwriter that wrote songs for Boyzone...
But Humperdinck, he sounds much better in German because of this distinctive accent...

The song from Sweden was not generic, it was boring...lotus2035 wrote:Oh yeah and the winner was a very generic sounding pop dance tune which Sweden is great at producing. The best pop tripe won. (As always).
Greece and Italy were much better - they've taken some originality and flavor of their country into their songs...and Mandinga was also good, a latino-pop band from Romania...
But I have to admit that in Sweden there are many good producers and DJ's...

Did we really send the mutant twins to represent the UK? - why is it we always send the joke act when some other countries at least seem to pick acts that actually make music successfully, even if it is still largely pop tripe.lotus2035 wrote:I'm Irish and I would dismember Jedward and beat them to death with the bloody stumps of their own arms.

What bothers me really is that they have known before the voting that Sweden would win!! How can it be?? Is it a fraud?
