Camel Audio is pleased to announce the release of Alchemy Mobile v1.1.27, which lets you move the remix pad using the new Tilt function to translate your physical hand movements into morphing sound changes, while Inertia lets these moves continue under their own steam while you carry on playing. Other new features include quantize to tighten up the timing of your recordings, as well as unlimited record, bounce and export times, further improvements to the keyboard and menu displays, more control over MIDI input and outputs, and iPad 3 retina display graphics.

The Pro Upgrade now lets you record remix pad movements to capture complex sound changes, bookmark your presets to make favourites easier to find, adds more complex quantize functions including triplets and a new 'Clear MIDI performance and loops' option.

We would also like to apologize for the the mistake we made the v1.1.23 release earlier this week. The wrong version was uploaded, which caused problems for some users - including preventing some 1.1.11 projects from loading. Version 1.1.27 corrects these bugs and also removes the Pro features that were mistakenly added to the free version.

Note: the 50% discount offer is now over.

---I upgraded to the Pro version!! Is there some way to tell what the new sounds are that were included in the upgrade as opposed to the old ones?

Here's a list of presets and loops included with the Pro Upgrade.

Peace,

If using in-app upgrade purchase, does the pro version get added to my iTunes account and then reloadable onto a new iOS device? A friend of mine had once bought filters in a photo app but lost them when upgrading her phone. I've been pretty cautious about in-app purchases since.

All Alchemy Mobile in-app purchases are tied to your iTunes account, which means you can install the Pro Upgrade or the sound libraries on any device authorised by your iTunes account - now or in the future.

Not something we have plans for at the moment, sorry.

Inertia is a cool feature. It's like a lemur template built into alchemy.

Bump for the Pro Upgrade discount - it's ending today - if you haven't got yours yet, now is the time.

Peace,
Andy.

Yep. Picked it up along with "Luftrum: Ambient". I haven't spent much time other than going through all the new sounds. Smile I''m really looking forward to hooking up my keyboard and really getting a good feel for the sounds and marking favorites.

Really looking forward to editing sounds and saving for various projects. Which is one question I have. What exactly does 'save project' do? What is getting saved? I made a quick edit and reloading the project remembered my edits, but I can't rename sounds.

Saving a project saves your recording, the selected sound, and any modifications you made to the sound.

I don't believe it is currently available. I too have that package, and would love to see it made available for iOS. Smile

Yes, you are correct...Planet Earth has not yet been released for Alchemy Mobile. Eventually we plan to release mobile-optimized versions of all our banks, but it's taking some time to get to them all. We're working on it, though. Smile
