thanks.

i just send you the audio example in a private message. maybe then my problem will be clearer. thanks though. :)

More stuff :

- Something strange in MXXX and the multiband plugins :
> Create four bands in the band editor.
> With the mouse, Slide all the band limits to the max frequency (to 20khz), now you can slide them down and get them back without problems.
> Slide all the band limits to the left (to the 20hz limit), now you can't slide the band limits back to higher frequencies, you can't get your different bands back.

- This made me think of an "E" for "Expand" button on each band (like the solo, bypass, mute square shaped buttons).
Pressing the expand button on one of the bands would mute all the other bands and expand the selected band from 20hz to 20khz.
This is an easy way to toggle from single band to multiband to try/compare things.
Maybe this expand button could be actionned by a multiparameter.
To simplify things, the band editor could still show all the bands but it would display the color of the expanded band from 20hz to 20khz.

Maybe this is too complicated but I think this Could be extremely useful for all the Multiband plugins (it takes a lot of time to create bands, delete bands etc).

- Muting or Bypassing a band could disable the processors in that band to save CPU.

- The meldatuner from the free bundle could be included in MXXX as a processor

- The oscilator begs to be controlled from a midi keyboard (MXXX VSTi synth with audio and midi input)

- The pitch detector could probably be used to do a simple audio to midi conversion utility

Yeah, well, I hope it's not such a big deal, doesn't look like a very common thing to do :). I'll check if it could be fixed though.

Hmmm, I'll add it to to-do list.

Impossible - some processors need constant feed from the input, otherwise a long discontinuity would happen when you'd unmute the band.

I guess ;)

Well, oscillator can be controlled via MIDI, but it's only monophonic and no envelopes etc. This would be thing for MYYY ;). But MXXX first...

Yes, but that's not really useful...
