I see it's on offer this weekend.

Has anyone used it. What is your experience of it?

I'm going to be using it to convert to NNXT (Reason) and EXS (Logic) formats.

Post

I use it to convert EXS24 devices to .sfz and alesis fusion format. I don't find it particularly intuitive, but it gets the job done. I must admit though that whenever I use it it feels like I managed to get lucky in terms of making the conversion happen. Not that it's hard (works every time), it's just that the steps I take don't necessarily seem like the ones I ought to take. To my chicken-sized brain, at least.

I can't comment on any of its features really...literally all I do is open it, find a .exs file, convert it, and get the hell out.

I can't really comment on Chicken Sys, but be sure to take a look at Extreme Sample Converter before pulling the trigger on this one.

btw I'd heard of extreme sample converter too (and heard good things) but ruled it out as I'm on a mac. So yeah, if you're on windows then it's def worth a look.

Extreme sample Converter dev gives no news. The site has not been updated since more than one year. So I don't know if it's a good idea to buy it. Sample converters need to be always up to date with the new formats.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

I think you can download a demo version from Chicken Systems to try it out.

I can't claim for newer version but i had only troubles with it. It never did what it is supposed to do (translate between programs and various formats).

My best advice: use demo before you decide..
