Is there a way to get a 'smoother' pitch bend - NI Massive

Hey, i'm trying to pitch my bass up by 24 semi tones on a small bridge i have made, but the pitch bend sounds so un-natural and not very smooth at all i really don't like it,
I have tried bouncing it to audio and loading it in to kontakt and rising it from there but still no luck
Here's it so far, i used massive for the bass : http://www38.zippyshare.com/v/70275137/file.html
I want it to sound natural and smooth like this one rises @ 2.30 -
Any ideas?
Thank you!!

Interesting. Yeah, I can hear beating in the pitch, at roughly 4 per second.
As an experiment, if you were to run that line using a patch that's just a saw, how does that sound?
Also, is there any pitch modulation on the patch, like detuned oscillators or chorus? Or stereo or panning? While you're at it, try turning off the reverb too. A little bit of process-of-elimination work could help you figure it out.
Failing any of that, try making multiple copies of that synth, and offset the copies' phase a bit or maybe the panning, change a little something on each. Combine them, and that could make it smoother... if louder.

Thanks MOK, i tried it with a basic saw and it sounds like it should -

The patch doesn't have any pitch modulation or stereo enhancements on, it does have modulation on wave forms, i also have 2 distortions, an EQ, vowel filter and other plug ins on it,
Ill have a go at what you said at the bottom, i suppose if i bounce them to audio afterwards i can fit them in perfect at mix down if that work

have you tried to duplicate the channel and on the new channel use a pitch envelope instead of a pitch bend?

What the f**k you on?_leras wrote:It's not a pitch bend is it you deaf person...
In your example it's using slow glide between two notes.... it then changes the speed of the glide before sliding back down....
Yes it is a pitch bend

Massive always bends smoothly for me. Sounds like the patch for some reason.

Sounds to me like it's an effect of the modulation you're using in the patch.
For example: if you put a light but noticable vibrato on a basic saw patch, and then do a pitch bend at the right range of speeds, you'll hear something approximating a steppyness in the pitch, as the downward movement of the LFO cancels out the upward pitch bend (and vice versa).
Also, modulating waveshapes at certain speeds will sometimes create the illusion of pitch wobbling, even without pitch modulation, because wavefronts are moving and messing with how we percieve pitch. (That's also how PWM can sound 'out of tune' in some settings).

The glide thing actually works kind of well if you put the time of the glide all the way up. Here are my results with an init preset that has reverb and dimension expander in massive:
