Although it's great to see the No Brainers back I think people were asking for new deals not just the older "sold out" deals to be reopened...... Very Happy

Well, a lot of people where whining about deals they missed so perhaps they aim to please those? Shrug Also, it seems they've dropped the price even lower this time (according to an old marketplace thread I found when searching KVR for any discussions on these plugs the last No Brainer was 10 dollars more).. The hassles of the copyprotection chosen is a dealbreaker for me anyway, and I don't really need anymore compressors and EQs until I start feeling like I've exhausted the ones I've got now...

That said, really looking forward to what the future will bring No Brainer wise. Smile

Here is a HOT one.

Invalve Preamp, Equalizer, and Compressor, originally nearly $400 now $49.

I own them and they sound great!.

When did these native versions come out?

Were they part of the 11/11/11 $11 sale?

I don't remember seeing them in that.

Thanks!

I believe that the original PowerCore versions were out then (and were included). I didn't pick them up at the time. Wish I had. The other plugs that I picked up during that sale are great though, and Audiffex is starting to release 64-bit versions as a free upgrade. I have to say, their customer service rocks!

Don't. Bad Software, Bad Company. More bugs than an ant farm.

They weren't in the sale. I've demoed them and they do sound nice, but I don't think they are as good as more recent tubey plugins. Worth the price though and the copy protection is good.

My only hesitation with Audiffex is this. When I asked them to fix the autogain in their compressor pedal plug (as it was clipping), they said it couldn't be done. It's not as if there's plenty of other devs who have managed to do this. I would, therefore, recommend you test for this in their other stuff.

Cheers.

Thanks Photo_G and khanyz. It look like the native versions must just be out. I guess if one had the foresight, you could have got the PC versions and then the free upgrade for $33, even if you didn't have powercore. That would be a lot of foresight though and only a savings of $16. If they were $11 a piece now, I'd likely go for at least one, but I'm not so sure about the bundle, even at $49.

Are there any demos for this library? Couldn't find any, flying quickly over the page and searching YouTube.
(If anyone has an answer, might as well post it in the Discussion thread to not-annoy the deal hunters. Wink )

There are some samples at the Dan Dean site.

I found those already, but thank you anyway.
Sounds like another legato-weak one-sample-per-note-and-velocity library. Confused

Yeah, I know. To me the most appealing aspect is the ability to have small groups like 3 celli or 6 violins instantly, without having to reenter midi parts or going through the process of randomizing timing and velocity, etc.

Anyway, it's only $50 so it could be worth having for some.

Greetings; This is a little offbeat, but some people may find it worthwhile.

Zinio (link below) sells digital issues of a couple music mags, including Future Music -- the kicker is that for the last 5 or 6 FM issues, you can download the DVD content; loops, demos, workshops, etc.

Glenn, that was cool to find out. Thanks for that! I bought the current issue last night.

I have to thank nutsadaums for posting this deal as I just got a pair when I called in for $340 shipped. Excellent score!

So thank you! I've wanted some 8's for a while. And until I can budget for some top end ones, these will definitely work well!

If you're in the market for studio monitors, Musicians Friend has KRK Rokit 8's in "Ferarri Grey" for $199 each, $50 bucks less than the same monitor with the yellow cones. In addition, you can apply the Freedom15 coupon code to get 15% of each. Coupon wasnt working online, but called in and spoke to a rep to get the discount. Total came to $338 for the pair incl. shipping.

Not too shabby

Also, the Zino magazine deal for ipads, etc., for Future Music looks like a great deal at $39 with all the downloadable content available. I'm definitely subscribing.

Thanks guys.

For anyone interested in the Sonar X1 LE starter pack for $19.99, I can tell you that it is split up into four installers, in case there are parts of the bundle you are not interested in:

* Digital Sound Factory Free Cakewalk Sound Center Instruments Examples Pack (25 MB)
* MP3 Activation Installer (305 KB)
* SONAR X1 Explained Video Download - for LE (114 MB)
* SONAR X1 LE Installer (2.5 GB)

However, I gather from the Cakewalk forums that the recent X1d update does not apply to the LE version. Maybe none of the X1 updates do. But I'm willing to take my chances for $20.

I have x1 le and I can confirm that you don't have the updates - which is pretty garbage if you look at the logs - some pretty significant changes.
