Why did I come here again? HiHi

Amen to that!

This whole thread reminds me of something a friend of mine said; There's so much free porn on the net why pay for it!Laughing

I've paid for REAPER, and BFD ECO ($29!)...everything else is legit free stuff. I know that the small differences in sound (if there is any) between free and pay isn't what's holding my music back.

If U-he were free developers they would be working for someone else ten ours per day and developing synths two hours per day. We wouldnt have ACE or DIVA yet. I prefair small teams that are paid to work on something great.

+1 Thumbs Up!

This is a good attitude. Because if people can live from programming (audio software), they can invest more time in it and make the software better.

Think of Wavosaur. The last update wasn't that spectacular, and it took years for an update at all. I think that's because the developer has to do other work to get an income.

With the commercial REAPER I get an update (even with several new functions) every few weeks, because the programmers can do that probably as main job.
