I'm getting a bug where the delay/flange etc buttons seem to stay 'red' on , i click to turn them off but they stay red, tho the effect itself seems to actually switch on and off ok.., it makes it a bit hard to know whats going on tho..

Building the user areashanecgriffo wrote:Ok so as long as i dont follow instructions and dont rename it it actually scans and loads!shanecgriffo wrote:Oh man, I'm really over this delivery mode.. Once again I can't get it showing up in ableton, I did follow instructions..!!
Unzipped then renamed .. It seems a different set of hoops to jump thru every time there's a new update product
This whole delivery system is like a puzzle to solve, one i could do without... Nice plugin tho

A separate project, with lots of control on the delays and how they evolve.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:within this product or as a separate project ??quintosardo wrote: Yes, that's right, a full featured delay unit is coming

Not too complex please , and an lfo to modulate filter cutoff of the
feedback , like Retrodelay.Per favore
If you have the time ( we will pay
the delay , also like Retrodelay.
Scusa , pero

I mentioned something about it on Page 10. You're not alone ...shanecgriffo wrote:No one else getting this one?shanecgriffo wrote:I'm getting a bug where the delay/flange etc buttons seem to stay 'red' on , i click to turn them off but they stay red, tho the effect itself seems to actually switch on and off ok.., it makes it a bit hard to know whats going on tho..
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Im getting that bug as well, seems related to all the (new?) knobs and switches at the bottom. Since installing i have been having some crashes with a lot of buzz noise ... not saying it's either grasso's or roundtone's fault, but it has been in projects with several of them in it. I think one time i saw "delay" had gone to -1092893848848 (huge number) when i turned it just a little (by mouse).
Anyone know what "noise" does? I've been trying to figure out when the changes are audible but so far no luck. Is it on certain material or does it depend on the other knobs and switches? I understand some controls may have a minor but an effect that is not supposed to be heard right away (thinking noise on strip).
Still so many controls with Grasso and Roundtone to play around with, so i'll get to this mystery knob sooner or later

@Win users: Roundtone v.3.0.1 is available. Please download it from the same last link.
About the great beta-testers: as you probably imagined, it was an error in the licensing code! You couldn't see it.
Changes:
- wow and flange are now linked in a machine
- several new sync delay modes added. More divisions and longer up to 4 beats. You have to set it again in your projects if you used it
- parameter names now available for automation
Testing and setting Mac versions.

Noise is modeled, mainly low and high frequencies. To hear it, select direct and increase the level through noise knob.Crackbaby wrote:...

Noise has three modes available, though, one is dynamic and you could miss it if you listen to silence through audio events.
- direct (or similar?) is static background noise through the whole plugin.
- tape is through the tape, it goes back through the delay loop, so it goes through tape on every echo (choose this one if playing with endless evolving loops!).
- dynamic is modulated by input signal. Like a ducking gate on it. You cannot hear it during pauses but makes its "natural dithering" effect on the sound.

A note from a user: Roundtone v.2 and v.3 report different latency to the host.
Opening an old project which uses v.2 and dirctly replacing with v.3 could bring time disalignment. Just save the project, close and load it again.
