Plantmonster - Log Doorway
http://soundcloud.com/plantmonster/log-doorway I'm just getting into music and I don't really know what I'm doing, but I messed around with this synth I've got and made this. What do people think? Any tips on what to try next or what I'm doing good or bad etc? edit: I've made the tracks downloadable on soundcloud and here are some direct links [ http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69897428/LogDoorway.mp3 ] (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69897428/LogDoorway.mp3) [ http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69897428/CrystalJungle.mp3 ] (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69897428/CrystalJungle.mp3) AUTO-ADMIN: Non-MP3 links have been disabled in this post automatically. Wonderfull ambient rhytmic composition.
It's like an early "Edgar Froese/Tangerine dream" piece. Please make it downloadable And maybe you will get more replies if you post a direct link. Regards, Ktransmission PS: I also really like your 'Crystal jungle'. |

Can't change the site but here's a clickable link to the site anyway: http://soundcloud.com/plantmonster/log-doorway
Plantmonster, if you can link directly to a .mp3 or .ogg file, your piece will appear in KVR's Music Tracker. |

I think the URL didn't work because I'm a new member and I don't have enough posts or something. I've added some links I looked up tangerine dream, I hadn't heard of it before. Pretty interesting, gave me some ideas. |

Thanks for the download.
I've now added your tracks to my favorite playlist Tangerine Dream has been a big part of the electronic music scene since the beginning (late 60'). They are even more productive now than ever, and while I really love most of their early stuff, much of the new material is also really good. You should also lookup Klaus Schulze, who was a member og TG in the early days. His style is more mediative, and maybe even more in line with yours? I just noticed that you asked for some tips in you orig. post. I only have one suggestion: Make your tracks longer, esp. 'Log doorway'. All the best, Ktransmission |
