Best musical use of an Android phone?

I just upgraded my phone to a little faster processor, a little larger screen, and OS 2.3, my latency is exactly the same in Caustic (93 ms) but Caustic seems happier and even a little bigger screen on a phone is a big upgrade. Anyhow I asked this a while back but since it has been 6 months Ithought I'd ask again: what Android music apps do you find most helpful? Top of my list definitely is Caustic, nothing else really comes as close to a synth lover's app. BUt anyhow, to remix this because now maybe some new apps are available, what would your recommend I check out?

hit it with a pointed stick while sampling the resulting audio on an ipadBest musical use of an Android phone?
use the calculator to calculate the difference in latency between it and your ipad
as an ipad stand

Buy an Ipad. It's by far the best, most flexible musical instrument available that you don't own.braj wrote:I just upgraded my phone to a little faster processor, a little larger screen, and OS 2.3, my latency is exactly the same in Caustic (93 ms) but Caustic seems happier and even a little bigger screen on a phone is a big upgrade. As an (ex?) Android tablet user, there is just no comparison. None.

Seriously, check out Caustic 2. It's an awesome app and I bought it but I rarely use it TBH - I just can't make music on a phone.

there's a history to that name which is too long and very dull...just changing your name to to some random body part wont have the same heritage, nor will make the same sense.....mr president wrote:Cool name, im thinking about changing mine to knee-cap or spinal columnel-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:and i own an android tabletTristezaOrange wrote:And I own an Android phone FFS!
