What Controller Keyboard?

Hey All,
After having spilt a well known brand of soft drink over part of my keyboard (which randomly seems to have stopped most of the e flats working correctly, there goes compositions in C Minor...), I'm in the market for a new one. Now I've wanted something nice for awhile, I'm more interested in playing quality as opposed to having lots of real time controls such as faders etc. Something perhaps weighted or semi weighted and either 76 or 88 keys would be ideal.
So, any suggestions? Budget...well that's as cheap as possible but with good quality build, I would be happy to get one second hand!
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried opening your board and giving it a rinse? The soda has probably just coated some of the electrical contacts. Just make sure you dry it completely before plugging back in.

Studiologic VMK-176 Plus or Studiologic VMK-188 Plus?
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

Yeah I might do that, I've been thinking about getting a new controller for awhile though and perhaps this is a sign...meldavid wrote:Have you tried opening your board and giving it a rinse? If your mostly after a keyboard for playing, not tweaking, how about checking out some of Casio's stuff?
I think the footing of the keyboard is included in the offer, and the keyboard will double as a piano and a midi-controller.

Looks good...I do only need purely a controller keyboard though if that helps keep the price down?

Alto just launched some decent looking semi-weighted midi keyboards ...
