Hey Hey calm down. We're supposed to be here to help.

Unfortunately I don't own Ableton so I can't help there but I use Orion for the task. I simply load up as many Synth 1's as I want (or any other plugin for that matter. Zebra 2 layered with Albino, Dune, and Z3TA+ for example makes a huge and awesome sound). I set midi mode to Advanced so they all respond to the same midi channel, select patches for each instance that compliment each other and play away. Of course each channel can have it's own external effects and I can set the key range for each instrument for splits. Think of each plugin as an "Oscillator" in a larger synth and you can come up with sounds that are simply amazing.

Post your Ableton question about Racks in the Hosts forum here and you'll get some help in no time. :)

Can you help explain how that's done? I'm new to Ableton so I'm not sure what you mean by creating an instrument rack. Does that mean when you drag Synth1 into the Clip page? And I don't know how to create a separate chain for each Synth 1 either. Can you explain how that's done?

thank you for helping me out!
Just drag the synth1 vst to an "empty space" on the right, "next to" the track you already have loaded. A new track and instance will then be created.
Repeat that as many times as you need.

Thank you for being so helpful and not going off on me for simply asking a question. Thanks for all the extra info and everything I really appreciate it.
