Need help to ID 70's band/album cover
Remember having this album in the 70's and I'm struggling to remember the band and name of the album.
All I can recall is a man sat down and has hooves instead of feet, might of been other people in the background as well and in a forest, not sure though.

Thought it was Jethro Tull but it isnt, or maybe one of the prog rock bands I was into like Gentle Giant, but its not them.

any help greatly appreciated
Thanks

wish i could remember, I think it might be prog rock because I used to listen to a lot of it back then.
Not Genesis or Yes.

Not even sure why I suddenly thought about it !

Spoken to a few old friends from the day and they all seem to remember the cover but no idea as to the band.

I'm pretty sure it wasnt one of the mega bands of the day.

Not much use but thats all I remember or think I remember

nope, not them either Sad

I'm pretty sure it was a photograph as opposed to an artist graphic pic.

I don't think your described art work is on this list, but either way viewing 100 prog rock album covers may help to jog your memory?
Failing that, there's some damn fine stuff here:

Cool

not there, but a good trip down memory lane.
I must of had had about 70 or so of those back in the day, still got some of them as mp3s sitting on a hard drive here somewhere !

some great music amongst that lot, the likes of which never be repeated by todays button pushers and knob twiddlers !

Opeth
Porcupine Tree
Dream Theater

They are very much bands of "today".

What you describe, except for the hooves, sounds like Tull's This Was where they are all in a forest looking a bit Hobbitish.
