Latest News: u-he updates all their plug-ins
|
|||
Sorry if this as been asked before but what's the current plan for u-he for the rest of 2012? I plan to get new plugins soon but I would like to know what you have for us before the end of the year. Thanks! |

One more Diva update with one or two new features (but no new models just yet), possibly VST3, AAX support
One ACE update with multicore support and new MIDI stuff, possibly VST3, AAX support One Uhbik update with bugfixes, and RE support, possibly VST3, AAX support, possibly a compressor One update for Zebra2 with bugfixes, possibly VST3, AAX support Possibly an upgrade to Zebra3 if all goes well (it'll be cheaper to buy Zebra2 and upgrade than wait for Zebra3) Possibly a strictly digital synth Possibly a Diva spin off Possibly Bazille 1.0 out of all those "Possiblies" we expect two or three to happen, depending on wherever Murphys law throws an obstacle our way #--- Next year we'll have more Uhbiks, some more Possiblies, Berlin Modular and what not on our plates, but nothing is set in stone. |

Awesome!
Can't wait for Zebra3, the digital synth and Bazille The other things are nice too but these would definitely be the ones I'd choose if I had to Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Life can take some shitty turns sometimes. |

Wow Urs! I just can't figure out how you manage to do all this and still find time to sleep/have a life. Awesome!
Is Zebra3 going to be really different from Zebra2? Also, no update for MFM2 and Filterscape? |

Is Zebra3 going to be really different from Zebra2? Not too different. Same kinds of modules, but many modules rewritten/improved. Zebra3 will be a luxury version of Zebra2, we think. Quote: Also, no update for MFM2 and Filterscape?
Well, their sources are up to date and they usually benefit from recompiles with new general features. I would love to update Filterscape, but like Zebra, we need to add some new gui technology to make this painless enough. |

Yeah I know... same here... so much so, I hardly dare to type any code... Funny, I get that with music. I'll have a kernel of an idea, or a sketch, and I'll put off developing it further for ages, for fear of tainting it with my additions. Does this post need a smiley? (I've caught myself eyeing them up...) Nope |

You're also working a drum synth, right? That would be top of my wishlist. Maybe call it Uhmpff |

Hehe, good one! Yes, a drum synth is in the Possibly range too. Sascha has already got some experience with this, as do I. But the next 6 months belong to Zebra, and we'll see what's doable on the side. Depends on how well outsourcing stuff works and how things fit. |
