I am working on a small instrument at the moment. I am getting clicks and pops, usually on key release (with no release samples). Googling suggested moving the orange "end marker" in the wav. editor to the left. So I just doubled the size of the instrument by adding 1 sec. onto all of the samples, and then moving the "end marker" to the left but I still have the problem. Any body have a clue? |

Where did the instruction say ... add a bit onto the file and then move the marker to the left?
Just do what you were told and move the "end marker" to the left. The end of the file was probably not cut at a zero crossing. ---- The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike. |

Thanks for the response. I tried moving the end marker left. It didn't fix it. After googling, I wondered if it wasn't at zero crossing, so I added 1 sec. to the end the samples and moved the marker left, (nowhere near the end of the sample) and it didn't work. The other issue is that the clicks happen regardless of whether the sample plays to the end or not. It seems to be at the release (my finger releasing the key, not the release of the sample). Maybe that clarifies it. Again, thanks much for the response. |

Adjust your AHDSR to a release other than 0 maybe? |

Thank you. Adjusting the AHDSR does help. Decay set at 1.2k ms,just about gets rid of the clicks. But 1.2k seems really long to me. It is near a one shot at that rate. |

What midi keyboard are you using?
Certain brands(Roland etc) send an allnotesoff everytime the last key is released, and no other keys are down. Some plugins react to allnotesoff like panic-button and just shuts everything down. I had this problem and reverb tails were cut when allnotesoff comes. To test this: 1. Hold one key down all the time, and press and release another key. Does it still make a noise? If it never makes a noise while one key is down - it's this problem I mention. I fixed it by making top key of keyboard down with a bit of adhesive tejp. There are other solutions that filter out midi CC#123 which is allnotesoff. It's possible this is the problem. |

Thanks for the responses. The problem went away when I removed ADHSR. No idea why, but keeping ADHSR on gave me clicks (unless release was really long). Thank you everybody who responded. Cheers. |

Hi, make sure the env ammount is at 100 percent for the ahdsr(the slider next to the invert button). Cheers, Steve |
