Hi I'm trying to auth SEM V and I'm a bit confused with Arturias auth procedure.
They list no phone tech support which I don't like The instructions are vague: I want soft elicenser (not a dongle). How do you do this I registered on line, got the long code, tried to authorize and I get a message that I need to create a soft elicenser and I have no clue how to do this. I want to avoid a dongle if possible and I suspect the one I have ilok2 is not compatible anyway. Any suggestions? Is my assumption correct that Arturia doesn't offer phone support? Weird! Thanks in advance. Hi Standalone,
Thanks for the link,I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version but still no luck...... It's a really strange process........ I have deleted, reinstalled the latest elicenser, repaired permissions, rebooted etc..... I keep getting a message that there is no license to auth. Arturia seems to have no support via phone,I filed a tech support request, automated email said they'll answer in 2 days, pretty weird for my1st Arturia experience, the auth instructions are as vague as I've seen. I'm sure the SEM V is a great VI from all of the raves I keep hearing but Arturias lack of an active support presence seems pretty lame to me. They say you can auth via a soft elicenser but it's so far a mystery to me. to be continued............ ---- MacPro 2.8 Quad(2008)24gig,OSX10.83, DP8.01 RME FF800,Great River ME-1NV,NTK and AT4033 ,NI Komplete8U,Arturia,Spectrasonics,OhmForce,IK + many more Vdrums TD20 expanded,Superior 2 etc,,UAD2,Waves etc...Focal Twin 6 monitors, Shunyata, hard drives galore. |

just to make sure heres how it should work
apologies if youve already done this {{1}} download and install the elicenser software here;; http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html {{2}} launch the elicenser control center application {{3}} enter the activation code you received from arturia {{4}} the license should then download from the elicenser servers (can take a few minutes sometimes) {{5}} once thats done you now select which device to install the license to (if youve got no elicenser dongle plugged in you will probably just have one choice;; your hard-drive) {{6}} once the license has been installed you can shut down the control center application {{7}} launch your daw and start an instance of the synth, it should be authorised so youve done all that and still having probs ? |
