Are there any free Modular synthesis software programs out there that anyone could suggest that are really good? I have Windows Vista Dual core. |

Sonigen Modular.
It's at beta stage but very usable. It will cost some money when it reaches ver. 1.0 though. |

Well, I'm looking for something that's very modular, but not as modular as the Moog, or the ARP 2600, but just enough so I can see how many sounds I can make with what I can get. The modular synths have to be complicated enough so I can learn how they work the way they work, and learn why they work the way they work. |

About pure synthesis, As you can choose the modules you use , it's you who decide the complexity of your patch..? for me one of the best to learn is the http://www.clavia.se/products/nordmodular/demo.htm |
