Hi, I'm new on KVR.
I don't really know if it's the right place for my question. (Sorry moderators!) So I have a Yamaha p95. I just bought a Roland um-one ( midi to usb cable), tried it with pianoteq 4 demo version, and it works flawlessly. However, I was wondering whether I could get the sound of pianoteq or any other vsti to be played back through the embedded speakers of the yamaha instead of the laptop's speakers? Is there something to configure in the ASIO4ALL driver to do that? Thanks |

You'd have to reroute the audio from the computer into an audio input of your Yamaha MIDI controller, if such an input exists.
You cannot do this by any midi cable, that's technical data. You could however reroute any midi sequence data out of the computer back into the Yamaha (assuming it has a MIDI input) and trigger its internal sounds. |

If the yammy has an audio line in, you could connect the headphone output of your laptop to that. |
