And now the $ ??.?? question: will this be a free upgrade for existing Amplitube users or a new paid version?
Oh: and please tone down the frequency of the purchase requests: one type per app launch (and all on the very first launch if you insist) should be enough. It.serves no purpose to interrupt the user workflow with information we are already aware of other than to generate annoyance.
This and the lack of a USB input has given me pause. Do these pop ups become less frequent once a single purchase has been made?

On the issue of popups, you are not supposed to get them for things you already have and supposed to be limited. I will have someone look at this.

The update will be free, but it will also contain new in-app purchases to further expand your app.Breeze wrote:And now the $ ??.?? question: will this be a free upgrade for existing Amplitube users or a new paid version?

Well, now I can compare it against Ampkit and see how I like it.DrApostropheX wrote:Yayyy!!! Copy/Paste! Take THAT AmpKit! Will the updates to the iPad version be done at the same time?

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

My guess would be that floor pedal controls will be able to be used--but then again, I haven't used this app, and it may have already had this.DrApostropheX wrote:Any app with a MIDI button that lets you change MIDI configs has gotten me salivating

Just dl'd Slash...very nice. This may be old news too but I ordered from the custom shop without buying credits...with my jam points I paid $43.99. No matter what haters say IK is a great company...
Now don't think you're the only one who harbours a self hate

I love my Amplitube on my iTouch. I do not like the iPad because it won't fit in my pocket, and I use it for so many other things I can't leave home without it. HOWEVER, the iTouch version of Amplitube is limited to 3 the first of which MUST be a noise gate, so we're really limited to TWO effects. It would be nice to have the noise gate as a default so we could TRULY have THREE effects - or, even better, like Ampkit, even more than three.
