Really happy with this one!
Departed somewhat from my usual moody routine and discovered it's a lot of fun working on something that has a steady beat driving it along. Hope you like it! cool. i know that some people prefer instrumentals, but have you thought of putting a singer into this mix?
really like the 'guitar riffs' at around 3:50; then the 'key solo', and the way the chord progression really sounds to 'evolve' at around 5:50. that little passage at around 7:50 which leads into the finale is also very cool. are you using classic auto filter on this track at all? a few of the bits there and about remind me of that, particularly on the little break at around 3:45. |

I love this! I really like your normal style, too, but this is a really nice diversion. You did a great job on this piece. ---- "Be excellent to each other." Dax IX (Music) | Ambient Online Cubase 7, A Few VSTi, Win8 Pro 64, AMD FX-6100, 32GB RAM, 3.25TB total HDD, SSD |

thanks for the nice comments, guys!
Used autofilter (if you mean the ableton live plugin..?) in a few places yes. Maybe you mean Fabfilter One - yes, it is getting quite a workout in this song. The main key arpeggio, noise fx, bass... As for adding vocals... I've been thinking about it but a) I'm terrible at writing lyrics b) my "singing voice" sounds more like a cross between a tortured cat and a rusty hinge (actually not unlike Bob Dylan.... maybe that's a good thing?) than anything else. It'd be cool to do some kind of collaboration though, especially if everyone used Ableton Live for easy file sharing.. Best, Anders ---- Eion Flow - Lush, cinematic electronica.
