Heya there, I just ordered the EW Symphonic orchestra silver for mac, and I'm experiencing a little problem..

when having the patch "KS master" or keyswitch master that is..

I get multiple voices played, even octaves that KEEPS triggering the goddamn keyswitches. Now you probably wonder why I'm using the KS master patch?

I'm using it simply because I want to be able to switch articulations whenever I want to. IS this a bad idea?

Here's a video of it:

I would very much appreciate the answers.

Thanks!

Do you have your MIDI channels configured correctly? It kind of looks like that patch is set to Omni, so it's interpreting MIDI commands from every channel.

In the top left corner of the Browser view, it shows the loaded instruments along with what MIDI channel they're assigned to. Click the instrument to highlight it, then select the appropriate MIDI channel from the menu below.

wow, it really was that simple? thanks ALOT!! really appreciate the help!

I do wonder one thing, how come it triggered the articulations though? I mean, eventhough it was set to omni, everything was only playing 1 single melody line, not any chords or octaves?

thanks

My best guess is that because it was set to Omni, it was reading the MIDI commands from your Basses track, which has its playable range down where the Cellos have their keyswitches.
