Well, I don't think this will happen. Everything with ProTools was always a problem, with HDX it would be extreme (I don't even know if it is possible with plugins with such complexity...) and considering it is a very minor host and people seem to go away to other host, this would be very uneconomical
... But AAX should be available, not sure about the release date though.

There should be AAX, but no RTAS, never. Already tried, that thing is a piece of crap... everybody knows that... even Avid admits that now via AAX

If AAX will take a long time... maybe an AAX wrapper to host AUs or VSTs? (hint hint...)
