Change the key or melody on acapellas ?

My friend once told me about a vst or something that changed the melody on acapellas to match them with your current track, good for making mashups etc.. Anyone know the name of it, or a way to do it manually? (ableton)

Either Celemony Melodyne or Antares Auto-Tune is probably the one that your friend was thinking of. Waves Tune is another option.
