I've got a project that might need a sound that I generally hate : Thermin

I'll prolly use it just once & therfore don't want to spend any of my hard-earned $$ on one

thanks

It is Theremin not Thermin.

the best theremin i've found is from the SampleMoog set which unfortunately the $30 offer just ended. it is surprisingly quite good.

Sine wave with LFO modulating the frequency. Add some portamento, pitch bend, or both. That should do the trick. You might also want to try a square or pulse wave instead.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Well, mine is switchable between sine and pulse, but sure, I'll go with triangle too. :)

Hehe, i think i know why you are asking for a Theremin synth :P
I usually don't like them neither to be honest.

But, indeed, the first suggested one is a nice free one.

Have a good day :)

Portisheads Mysterons track famously used a SH101 for it's theremin (folled a lot of people) so try Tals Bassline (sh101 wannabee innit?)

If not Super Spook Keys as noted above, excellent sound.
