I think this is a really good plugin.
Unfortunately it looks like it really needs a lot of Cpu.
This is quite normal, given the hard processing tasks which are involved in it.

Any tips about how to set it up to make it lighter ?

Well, I'd recommend increasing buffer sizes, don't use modulators and don't use too many voices (copies).

Few tips from what I've tested and tried so far:

-Less bands, if they're not needed.
-1 Voice only, if possible.
-Low copies and low grain count in the active Voice.
-avoid upsampling if you can
-less active modulators

Pretty sure Melda crew will have more tips to give...

I also suggest you to start your MMultiBandGranular clean with an init preset. With everything desactivated and by default, MMultiBandGranular is almost 100% transparent and doesn't suck any juice, then build and sculpt your sound gradually with an eye on your cpu.

This is very nice, it brings something new and different to the Granular table, the audio quality is really high. Just downloaded the demo and started tweaking. I'm definitely buying this although I thought since crusherX, Alchemy, Granite, Reaktor and whatnot all my Granular needs would be fulfilled. Nice work, Vojtech!

So here is a first test-demo made on the Laptop after installing with a looped Sopranosax phrase, tweaking the plug on the fly whilst recording through a Bus directly into Logic. Some Reverb added later for more listening fun (Shimmer).

I'm totally like you on this, I also thought I was filled and done with all my grain needs, but when this one came on the table I simply couldn't resist this bowl of grains. I can even see some of my other granular tools collecting dust in the near future with this one...

(especially with the freeze feature coming in a next update!)

I'm not talking about cererals here by the way.

Thank's man - well with the advanced modulation stuff Vojtech puts into his plugs and the multiband features this is a deep Plug-In! And the price is totally insane, I mean I just paid 21 Euros for it and looked for a donation button to add some more. Crazy...
I now have 2 Melda Plugs in my arsenal, the Harmonizer and this one and both are getting/will be getting a lot of use. And Vojtech updates his stuff about once a day

I bought this beast, I was just wondering if there's any chance to see a less CPU-starved version soon ? This one is really requesting too much cpu...
