This was a nice track. Good for unscrambling my brain after an intense 3 days at work. Nice clear sounds, panning and mix.

it's kind of like a fusion of 'king crimson' ('robert frippish') and a sort of 'reaktor percussion'.

i don't know what your nationality is, but of the guitars being 'robert fripp-ish'... that is to say, if he were an 'american' and not a brit. i'm guessing you're from the usa...

well thanks mrblitz! fripp-ish? well I take that as a compliment and maybe was a little inspired by. yes I'm from the us, the deep south (notice the harmony guitar a little nod to Duaine Allman - but if I had to mention it, then it wasn't that obvious, eh?)

Pretty music!

Are you using a looper? You did a nice job of adding layer after layer(harmonies) without the music getting cluttered up. And then the rhythmic elements come in and gradually add energy to the piece. Was this played live? I mean with real instruments including the percussive instruments? If I may lend a bit of criticism I would like to hear a change-a break from the tonal center or even a drum break-bass break or whatever. But that's just me. I come from that generation you know?

I used the session layout in Ableton Live, so you could say I was using a looper. Recorded guitar live..well the percussion is from some loops..I wish i could do percussion, but there's no room here for even a small drum kit.
thanks, criticism noted! this was more or less an excercise at getting something finished, quickly.
