Quick question: are vocal filters allowed? I assume they are effectively the same as very specific EQ, and since other filters are allowed technically they would be; I'd just like to hear from our fearless leader a definitive yea or nay. I try to avoid stick beatings to the head at all costs, even if it means updating a post here and there. Too scared of Spock coming to my door - he can teleport, you know! |

What exactly do you mean by this? Did you freeze the tracks? Something else? Because of cpu overload i play for example a riff and then resampled it with fruityloops so yes at that point it is vast no more changing . Anyway it always lead to somewere , i dont change pitch just use the sample as it is you can reversed it and that gives a other change for using that sample Fabrizio |

Just curious - does Fruity Loops not have a freeze function? (You must be a good player to get such results! I have to tweak to no end to be even remotely satisfied with what I've done.) |

Well, FL Studio has a multitracking render mode, separate files one by one in a batch exportation, or also, you can render only one channel at time pressing a little floppy disc in each channel, i never use any of both. What i don't know even is if you need to reload all samples after into samplers. Surprised about the high amount of CPU from this Minimoog. As i said, in my track, i got a 70% with about 30-40 channels. Maybe it is normal due the high number of instances, but this is the first time i got this. Have a good day |

Oohh... and that's nothing: in Cubase I'm experiencing some horrible cpu bursts - and consequent crackles - during a tempo change! Maybe an issue steinberg's guys never fixed, it arises especially with very demanding plugs. Luckily, it disappears after rendering. |

Is it safe to assume by the lack of dissension that these glorified eq are okay? (Will quite possibly drive the direction of my track) Related, am I missing some presets/functionality of Minimoog-V altogether? I'm hearing a lot of 'vocal' type sounds and I can't figure out how to find 'em or make 'em... suggestions? |
