Sorry to Windows users but unfortunately Steinberg didn't make a VST2 for the Mac version so I have had to make it with the AU so this is Mac only unless I get round to installing it on my old laptop and have some spare time to make a Win VST version too.

Hi Stephen,
if you like, you can contact me (just PMail me, if you don't have my email address anymore) - if you got a list of the assigned parameters for Kore or maybe a couple of screenshots of those inside Kore, I could re-create your Kore template for the VST2 version of Padshop.

Cheers

Hi thanks - it's OK I still have a Windows laptop - I just don't use it as much but will work on this when I have a chance

Oh crap! I just tried installing this on my Win laptop and it needs the original installer but I only downloaded the Mac version - for some stupid reason they don't allow registered users access to the full installer from mySteinberg. Anyone got a copy they can send me? - I put in a support request but Steinberg still haven't responded to the one I put in about the bugs 3 days ago and I don't want to wait for them to get round to it (if they ever do).

Oh well this will probably have to wait till next week now - the afternoon I had to do this in is nearly over.

Excuse my Ignorance but does this need a USB Dongle - i am a tad confused here and cannot find anything on the Steinberg site about Mac Installation -

I have Pad shop pro + Zero gravity showing up on the eLicenser Control centre (eLC Version 6.4.2009)

It reads

Pashop Pro -Steinberg, Local Demo, expioration date : 2012-08-04
Ditto for Zero gravity

But below both of those I have

Padshop Pro & VST Sound Instument Set for padshop (both of which just have "Steinberg, Sel" under then and Key to the right hand side with absolutely no Calendar Icon next to them like the ones above.

Tad confused right about now.

Padshop Pro or Zero Gravity installs a demo license, so any entries you see with Expiration Dates next to them are the demo licenses. The ones, which don't have any dates attached, should be the full licenses.

It is confusing that the full licenses don't automatically overwrite the demo ones. What you have to do is wait for those demo periods to expire on the demo licenses and then it should allow you to delete them (though you might need to perform a maintenance operation in the eLicenser control software to achieve it.) Then you're left with just the full licenses.

Thanks for the confirmation - I thought I was going a little bonkers seeing the full and demo licenses together after registering.

Hi everyone,

Great to hear that so many of you are enjoying Padshop and Retrologue. The sounds you have posted here are simply amazing! And the feedback you are giving is priceless.

Unfortunately I had to read about your problems with exporting your custom presets in Logic. Let me assure you that we have tested this quite extensively in all kinds of DAWs and hosts (also in Logic 9.1.7), and this never happened with the beta version.

BUT our developer team is on it this minute and will figure out how to fix this bug.

Best regards,
Matthias

Hi Matthias thanks. Just to clarify, this is not a Logic specific problem but one that seems to be affecting the AU version in general. I have the same problem in Reaper, Studio One and Kore 2.

Also can you ensure the installers are available through mySteinberg as I am unable to download the Windows installer for Padshop (not pro) as the original link expired before I had a chance to download it.

@ Fax:

In your MySteinberg account you can easily see what has been registered.
Choose the e-licences, click the + sign .
PadshopPro will be there as an extension.

I would gladly create a "my Steinberg Account" but according to the registration process my eLicenser number doesn't exist - tried every known combination - no spaces, no dashes etc etc and I could not create account as page 3 of account creation was one big 40 minute epic fail.
